Ski run signs and gradings.
Only ski on designated and secure slopes and always observe the safety regulations. Our ski slopes are categorised into three grades, according to the level of difficulty. Skiers and snowboarders can therefore make an informed decision as to the difficulty of the slope prior to starting a run down. All slopes have border markings.
Panoramic maps at the valley and mountain stations aid orientation and help in the choice of ski runs. Do not leave the marked slopes and please note the lift operating hours. Outside of operating hours snow grooming machines are in operation to prepare the slopes. Skiing down the slopes at these times is very dangerous.
Ski slope rescue services/emergencies/accidents
During our operating hours rescue services on the slopes are carried out by trained employees of the Ehrwald Alm cable car or by the local Mountain Rescue Service. All lift stations of the Ehrwalder Alm Cable Car are accident reporting points and the contact telephone number is: +43(0)5673-2468-621. The ski patrols only keep marked and open slopes under surveillance.
