Small children will feel on top of the world in the Ehrwalder Alm. The ski fun starts on the 8 seater cable car which can also transport non-skiing parents to the Ehrwalder Alm mountain station where they can watch their children take their first steps in the snow.
Snow fun for the little ones
"DIDIs snow playground" is located directly at the mountain station at the Tirolerhaus. Climbing, sliding and aiming at the snowball wall are on the program there. Climbing and sliding opportunities can also be found on the wooden snowcat. This is located right on the slope for a short breather - but can also be reached on foot.
Let's go skiing
The childrens area with the conveyors, the "mini lift" as well as the blue ski runs are especially popular for beginners and ideal for children. Once they have mastered the basics of skiing, there is no chance of them getting bored as they can then choose their own runs in complete safety. So you will often find them with Mum and Dad in the Familypark, in the Funslope or on the red runs where their children often look much more proficient on their ski's than their parents!

All older kids who have already practiced tricks in the Familypark can pay a visit to the professionally built Snowpark Ehrwalder Alm. Obstacles and jumps of varying difficulty levels leave nothing to be desired.
Ski schools in Ehrwald
The presence of the two Ehrwald ski schools is a very important aspect of the Ehrwalder Alm. They are both well equipped to offer the best tuition with conveyor belts, ski roundabouts and chair lifts for even the smallest children.
Children will be well looked after at the ski kindergarten and on the children´s ski courses. Fully trained ski instructors playfully impart skiing under the motto "Fun in the snow".

Important tips
Please observe a few basic points if you are skiing with children: When skiing, you spend the day at an altitude which most people are unaccustomed to. Through the exertion and the fresh air children in particular quickly become tired as they are using more energy. Please ensure that they drink plenty, before, but also whilst skiing, eat something in the breaks and have enough time to rest in between. Do not forget ski goggles or sunglasses, as well as sufficient sun protection. All children should wear a helmet (and a back protector), for safety reasons.
