In the summer of 2008 we built a reservoir with capacity for 70.000 m³ of water to ensure snowmaking facilities for the Ski area during the winter season. During the summer months the lake is a popular destination for families, guests wanting to enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and water lovers alike. The lake is 10 minutes walk from the mountain station of the Ehrwalder Alm cable car and can be easily reached by way of a gravel path. Seating is also available.
